TheNewDowse, renowned locally and internationally for our innovative approach to exhibitions and events, is always on the hunt for new, breakthrough creative projects. Committed to working in partnership, we want to collaborate with people who share our vision.
If you are an artist, designer or producer, creative individual or part of a collective; if you work for an organization – be it a government agency, business, community group, tertiary institution, science or research centre – that is committed to creativity and innovative solutions, and have a great idea for a project please feel free to contact our Concept Development team for an initial conversation.
From decorative arts to product design, from health initiatives to creative play environments for children, from the handmade to the manufactured, TheNewDowse believes that the potential of the creative sector is considerably larger than what is reflected in the traditional art gallery environment.
Please note, we generally schedule 12 to 18 months in advance, although we always aim to keep some flexibility within the programme. We only rarely accept external proposals for solo shows from artists - most of our solo projects are related to our awards programme.
