Guaranteed to delight visitors of any age, visitors were welcome to pack a picnic and bring the family to experience this exhibition of New Zealand sculpture in the Lower Hutt Civic Gardens.

Well-known sculptors exhibiting in 2012 included Tanya Ashken, John Edgar, David McCracken, Campbell Maud and Greg Bloomfield. All works for sale, with proceeds going to charity. Guided tours 2pm every Sunday, with night illumination every Thursday until 10pm.

Watch out for the Daily Display: an exciting opportunity to grab an art bargain as shapeshifter artists offer other works for sale, with changes daily. Be quick because this art sale is first in, first served! Banks Shoes Shapeshifter is a fundraising initiative of the Rotary Club of Hutt City, staged in partnership with The Dowse Art Museum and the Hutt City Council. It benefits Te Omanga Hospice, the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute, The Dowse Foundation and youth programmes in the Hutt Valley.
