Stand-out necklaces from The Dowse's rich collections will shine in The Bold and the Beautiful.

Featuring some of the stars of The Dowse Art Museum’s collection, The Bold and the Beautiful showcases larger-than-life necklaces, pendants and breastplates that offer a glimpse into the story of contemporary New Zealand jewellery.

Striking in their own right and sure to catch the eye, the works also highlight how a piece contemporary jewellery is more than a pretty thing to wear, flirting with the line between accessory and sculpture.

The Bold and the Beautiful includes statement pieces from the past 20 years by Warwick Freeman, Lisa Walker, Kobi Bosshard, Alan Preston, Mary Curtis, Elena Gee, Kirsten Haydon, David Hegglun, Lyn Kelly, Rangi Kipa, Chris Charteris, Amelia Pascoe and Moniek Schrijer.
