We’re in the final!

Author: Alex Grace, Communications and Relationships Manager

Our Pattern Project has been selected as a finalist in the Museum Shops Australia and New Zealand Retail Recognition Awards.

These awards celebrate the best in cultural retail across Aotearoa and Australia and we are super proud to be selected as finalists alongside Wellington Zoo and Australian Centre for the Moving Image.

The Pattern project is an important new step for us in our merchandise development as we continue to find new and better ways to connect our audiences with art. This particluar project also helps us collaborate more closely with new and emerging designers, create products that allow in new more tactile ways, and generate revenue that we use to serve our audiences better than ever.

Our Pattern Project has already been named the Museum Shops Association of Australia and New Zealand, Best New Product or Range (under $1 million turnover) at the Museums Aotraroa Service IQ New Zealand Museum Awards 2018 so this extra recognition makes us extra proud to know that our work measures up to our colleagues across the ditch.
