More Christmas ideas at MINE

Author: Kirsty Stratford, Senior Host
The past week has seen a flood of new stock arriving in MINE, The Dowse shop. Many of the goodies relate to our exhibitions, especially Arcade: Homegrown Video Games. We also have some glamorous new jewellery just in time for Christmas, and some wonderful books. Truly we have something for everyone, and for everyone a special little something!

These Arcade inspired cushions are from Whiskey-Tea, a one-woman crafting operation located in Manawatu.

Geek-chic for the gamers in your life!

The fabulous Heather Wilson created these art blocks for us, inspired by Ronnie van Hout’s Fallen Robot.

Local artist Victoria Grouden creates beautiful sterling silver and precious stone jewels to lust after.

Kapiti artist Diane Connal has spoilt us with some of her beautiful new designs.

New Zealand film-maker and multi-media artist Vincent Ward has published the lush limited edition fine art book ‘Inhale | Exhale’ with publisher Ron Sang.

What kid wouldn’t want a bedtime story called ‘Poobum’?! These gorgeous books from Gecko Press are full of fun.

‘Catch My Eye’ by Wellington street photographer Gabrielle McKone is a wonderful complilation from her visual diary from the past five years.

So drop into the Dowse and visit us in MINE! We’re open all the way through to Christmas Eve.
