Now, they’re working on some really exciting projects. In this episode of the podcast, Alice took the opportunity to sit down with them to find out more about their trips to China, Japan and Korea. Both Emma and Emma found China to be a fascinating place, with a vastness of scale that’s so different from New Zealand’s own art scene. Meeting with artists in person was also hugely valuable, and helped form relationships that have resulted in amazing exhibitions being presented here.

Hiroharu Mori’s exhibition, Death Workshop, is on at Enjoy Public Art Gallery until this Saturday, 7 November. To find out more, click here.

Liu Jianhua’s exhibition, Transfer, opens at The Dowse in Feburary 2016. To find out more, click here.

Emma and Emma travelled to Asia with thanks to the Asia New Zealand Foundation. To find out more about the annual Curators Tour, click here.
