Come and explore Wharenui Harikoa with us! A full-scale, colourful, crocheted wharenui. Write a wish to Hiwa-i-te-Rangi the star of hopes and dreams and meet her sister stars. Inspired by Wharenui Harikoa we will get creative in our workshop. Playing with neon strings and paint that will glow in our darkened classroom.

Self guided session with galley pack
Can you be a shape pirate? Go on a journey with your whānau through The Dowse and discover lots of shapes. Navigate your way around sculptures, jewellery, posters and paintings. Play with matching silhouettes and textured shapes.
When you have explored the galleries with our gallery pack you can sail up to the Toi Hut for hands-on arty fun.
