The Dowse x TMD Crew: Street Art Mentoring Programme

A group of Lower Hutt rangatahi learned from world-renowned street artists to create murals around their communities as part a year-long street art mentoring programme hosted by The Dowse Art Museum and Hutt City Council.

The programme took place in the lead up to a major exhibition at The Dowse Art Museum in early 2021 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the street art collective TMD Crew.

The first workshop was held in July 2020, led by Janine and Charles Williams, members of TMD crew and artists based in Auckland.
