School holiday fun with The Dowse

Many of us are back at work, but the school holidays are still in full swing. We’ve got some great events planned at The Dowse to keep kids happily occupied.

Clay Robots: Wednesday 16 January, 10.15am and 1pm
$5 per child

Make your own clay robot, inspired by Ronnie van Hout’s Fallen Robot - 55 minutes

Camp Rock: Thursday 17 January, 10.15am and 1pm
Gold coin donation

Paint your own pet rock out on the Dowse Square – 55 minutes

The Great Cuboro Play Date: Sunday 20 January, 11.30am and 2pm
$5 per child

The masterminds behind the marvellous Cuboro are running two workshops with over 500 giant Cuboro blocks – 1 hour

Towns, Turrets and Taniwhas: Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23 January, 10am-12pm

Bring the family along and join Jen and Jolie, our wonderful educators, in two monster sand sculpture sessions on the beach in front of the Petone Settlers Museum.

You don’t need to book for this event, but it is weather dependant. Check our website or give us a call on 04 570 6500 for cancellations.
