The Dancing and Drinking Society

On the first Thursday of every month, The Dowse is open until 9pm for Late Lounge, an evening of music, dancing, food, and of course art! This month was the 70th occurrence of these events, and we held a special art deco themed evening in association with All That Jazz, currently exhibiting here at The Dowse.

We were lucky enough to catch up with Mat Enright of The Dancing and Drinking Society on the evening to chat about how performing at an art gallery is different to other venues. We also spoke to our very own sound man, Mike Duffy, about why he still loves being involved in Late Lounge after all these years.
