The Dowse Art Museum is working on a community project featuring photos taken by Ans Westra of Naenae in the late 80s, and we need your help to identify the people in them! Join us for a kōrero and cuppa to share your memories.

In January 2022, we’re bringing her works back to Naenae where they were captured! Some of these images will be billboards placed in the areas her photos were originally taken, and others will be shown at Coco Pop Up Community Space.

If you recognise someone from your whānau, a neighbour, workmate or community member, or, you just feel inspired to recall our neighbourhood in the ‘80s, come and visit us at Naenae Library for a cuppa and kōrero to share your memories.

This is a partnership event with our friends at Coco Pop Up Community space, Naenae Library and Hutt City Council Archives.
