For the 2021 iteration of the awards, the committee invited a selection of industry experts to judge together across nine categories including Fashion, Jewellery, Product, Ceramics, Lighting, Furniture, Visual Communication, Surface and a special Innovation in Sustainability award.

The Judges for 2021 were British design legend Tom Dixon, ECC Lighting consultant Anita Dykes, Owner of internationally renowned The Village Goldsmith Ian Douglas, Student Craft Design Award alumni and textile and graphic designer Genevieve Packer, Student Craft Design Award alumni and Fashion Designer Talia Soloa, International brand strategist and creative William Carden-Horton, Owner of Proffer and head of product design for A.WORKS George MacLeod-Whiting, and Dowse Director Karl Chitham.
